Rovers have added a fifth friendly to their pre-season schedule.
Tony Mowbray’s side will travel to Mansfield on Wednesday, July 17 (7.30pm) to face the League Two side.
The game will be a reunion with midfielder Willem Tomlinson who joined the Stags on a free transfer in February after his departure from Ewood Park.
The two teams last met in the EFL Cup first round in August 2016 when an Anthony Stokes brace and Shane Duffy saw Rovers to victory.
Mansfield were beaten play-off semi-finalists this season and have since replaced David Flitcroft with John Dempster.
Rovers have one more friendly to add to their schedule, with all six of the pre-season games set to take place away from home.
The players will return for pre-season training in late June when they will travel to Austria for fitness work.
Their friendlies start with a trip to Barrow on July 6 before games at Rochdale (July 14), Bury (July 24) and Blackpool (July 27).
The new Championship will get underway on the weekend of August 3.
