Chorley FC are bringing back their reserve side after an absence of twelve months following a link-up with Myerscough College.
The team with play in the Lancashire League and as part of the link up with the vollege, where Magpies assistant manager Phil Brown is the football development manager, the club will also be looking to enter the FA Youth Cup for the first time since the early 1980s.
Myerscough College has a reputation for developing football talents, and Danny Pilkington, who played for Chorley last season, and signed professional forms for Stockport County this summer, started out at the college.
