Old Trafford will host two International Twenty20 fixtures featuring England v Australia during the summer of 2009.
And in addition to these two matches, Australia will again return to Old Trafford in 2010 for a ODI, whilst Sri Lanka will be the visitors in 2011 - also in a one day match.
Lancashire Chief Executive Jim Cumbes said; "After missing out on an Ashes Test Match, we are thrilled to be hosting Australia three times in two years.
"This is a great opportunity for North West cricket supporters to watch England take on the best team in the world."
