Rovers have announced a new date for their fixture with Swansea City after their scheduled meeting was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
Swansea will now visit Ewood Park on Tuesday, March 9 with a 6pm kick-off.
The sides were due to meet last week, only for the Championship fixture to be called off for a postponed pitch on the morning of the game.
That was Rovers’ first postponed home fixture since February 2015 against Middlesbrough, with groundsman Trevor Wilkin having outlined the reasons for the decision which was taken eight hours ahead of kick-off.
The game will be one of six matches Rovers will play in March, with the fixture coming between the trip to Millwall on March 6 and the home match with Brentford on March 13.
With Bristol City due at Ewood on March 17, it will mean three home games in the space of eight days.
The Swansea fixture last season was the last time fans were allowed inside Ewood Park. That February 29 meeting ended 2-2, as it did when the sides met on the final day of the 2018/19 season.
Swansea are currently second in the Championship and moved into round five of the FA Cup at the weekend after a comprehensive win over Nottingham Forest.
