Jacob Davenport has replaced Bradley Dack as Tony Mowbray makes one change for the game at Middlesbrough.
The central midfielder is in for just his second Rovers start as Dack drops to the bench.
Davenport will partner Bradley Johnson and Lewis Travis in a three-man midfield, with Joe Rothwell keeping his place wide on the left.
Jarrad Branthwaite makes his second start since arriving on loan from Everton and will partner Darragh Lenihan in the centre of defence.
That means it is an unchanged back four from the side which drew with Stoke City last time out.
Sam Gallagher shakes off his back injury to take his place on the bench, but there is no Lewis Holtby in the 20-man squad.
Boro have made one change with Djed Spence coming in for Anfernee Dijksteel at right back.
