SO Margo wants to give the people of Blackburn something to aspire to (LT, April 3).
I agree wholeheartedly that we, as a town, do need something to aspire to, but Hollywood?
She can't be serious. London, Paris, Rome - yes these cities have culture and history.
If she wants to be taken seriously she should think twice about what she ways before she makes comments like this.
Blackburn has its own long history and culture, perhaps she could do something to help restore these rather than continuously destroying them.
I do not object to the building of luxury flats or anything else, as long as it does not entail the destruction of a town's character and if she envisages bringing in good quality individual shops then good. But please not Hollywood.
