North West Air Ambulance Service have attended the scene.
PADIHAM bypass is currently closed at the junction of Barrrowford Road and Slade Lane due to a serious road traffic collision.
Police have had to close Barrowford Road at the junction with A671 Padiham Bypass and Slade Lane at Higham Road, while North West Ambulance Service are in attendance at the scene.
Lancashire Road Police have advised motorists to find an alternative route as the road will be closed for some time.
