OVER 100 mature cannabis plants with a street value of over £60,000 have been seized by police after a raid on a property in Oswaldtwistle.
Officers carried out the raid on the Blackburn Road property on Friday September 18 where they discovered 125 plants growing within four of the property's rooms.
Once the farm was made safe by Electricity North West by bypassing the power supply, officers from all sections of the Hyndburn Neighbourhood Team set about dismantling the farm and seizing the plants and equipment.
A police spokesperson said: "The Local Hyndburn policing team would like to thank the community for their on-going support.
"Stay safe."
