POLICE in Ribble Valley enjoyed a lighter moment on Sunday when discovered two dog owners in near the viaduct in Whalley struggling to get their pets to follow social distancing guidlines.
ASB patrol officers joked that the dogs would not cooperate and so would have to be issued with tickets.
Of course this was not meant in all seriousness, however officers have been able to use the incident to remind humans that, unlike dogs, they will be expected to continue following the regulations for the duration of the crisis.
