Police are seeking two men in connection with a hotel brawl which saw seven people armed with machetes attack a separate group of men.

Detectives investigating the violent disorder have released images of the men they want to speak with following the arrest of three other men.

The incident took place at a Blackpool hotel on July 5.

Andrew Price, 26, (pictured on the left) is a white male approximately 6ft tall, of stocky build, with short brown hair which is shaved at the sides and long on top.

Francis Dinnegan, 25, (pictured on the right) is white, approximately 6ft tall, of large build, with short red hair.

They both have links to Preston.

DC Danny Farrell, of Blackpool Police, said: “Although we have made some arrests and one man has been charged our investigation remains very much ongoing.

"We want to speak to the two men pictured as part of our enquiries and would urge anybody with information on the incident or their whereabouts to contact us straight away.

"Similarly, we would ask the two individuals to get in touch with police if they see this appeal.”

Officers were called at around 11.15pm on July 5 to a hotel on Queens Promenade, Blackpool, following reports of a public order incident.

When they arrived they discovered that a group of around seven men who were in possession of weapons, including machetes, had attacked another group of men before running from the scene.

Three people were taken to hospital for treatment but have since been discharged.

It is believed all parties involved are known to each other.

Following initial investigations, three men from Preston, one aged 17, one aged 18 and one aged 36, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

The 36-year-old - Patrick Gavin, of Leighton Street, Preston - was charged with violent disorder and appeared before Preston magistrates on July 22.

The other two males were released on bail.

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting log 1614 of July 5.
