The culprit's peachy rear end drew the attention of officers, who decided to stop the man in Preston and carry out an inspection of his vehicle, only to find it wasn't in a roadworthy condition.

Suffice to say, the driver was left feeling a little bare-faced when issued with a prohibition notice at the side of the road.

A spokesperson for the road police said: "If you are going to draw attention to yourself by showing your backside to members of the public through car window, please make sure your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition when you are inevitably stopped by police.

"Prohibited from use and issued with a PG9."
