A NEW £450,000 of support is now available to businesses in a rural borough to help them recover from the coronavirus pandemic.
Ribble Valley firms can now apply for discretionary grants of up to £10,000 is expected to be high.
The council received an additional £867,750 to support the borough’s small businesses following the pandemic
More than 80 small businesses in Ribble Valley have been assisted in two funding rounds and now a third for the final £450,000 has gone live.
The funding is aimed at businesses not eligible for assistance from the Small Business or Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant Funds, who can demonstrate a significant fall in income because of the pandemic, have significant ongoing fixed property-related costs.
Grants of between £1,500 and £10,000 are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Applicants must have been trading on March 11 2020 and not have received any other government cash.
