An award-winning digital marketing firm is on track for a record-breaking year as it eyes expansion across the North West region.

Burnley-based +24 achieved 50 per cent growth in the last quarter after investing over £100,000 during the last six months.

The +24 firm announced last week it is on the way to posting its first seven-figure turnover by the end of the financial year.

Managing director Dave Walker said: “It’s been a very difficult six months for everyone, employers and staff alike.

“Thankfully, we were able to respond early to make the changes that were vital to ensure the business has remained buoyant and successful.

“We have been agile in our response to our customers and forged new relationships with businesses by listening to their needs and responding appropriately. It has led to some fantastic new clients.”

“Circumstances have led us to make some pretty big changes, like establishing remote working for all our team, but our ethos and strong work ethic has remained – and is positively reflected in our books.”

Despite big changes in the way staff worked as the UK moved into lockdown, the company has managed to pull through even stronger.

Further expansion and strengthening of company infrastructure have led to more jobs as the company has recruited tech experts to support new projects.

Long-standing clients Ansell Lighting, Calico and IT recycling company Tier 1 have continued to work closely with Mr Walker and his team of software developers.

One of those clients – Burnley Council – turned to the +24 during the pandemic and asked them to create a website for Burnley Together - a new partnership between Burnley Council, Calico and other agencies to urgently address issues created by the pandemic.

“They needed an online presence, so we designed and developed a website for Burnley Together that went live within 48 hours,” Mr Walker said.

“We have the in-house expertise and flexibility to turn things around very quickly.”

The firm is now recruiting.
