A BAR that closed its doors just 12 months after opening has been relaunched under new management.
Caskbar in Darwen closed on November 2, but was revitalised and reopened just three weeks later on November 23.
New owners, Mayflower Brewery, have also employed a new management team, to replace previous managers Anthony and Rachel Rothwell.
Joel Cheetham, 27, who has taken over as general manager, alongside his friend, Josh Singh, also 27, said: “Mayflower brewery from Hindley bought Caskbar and it’s their first venue, and also the first venue to sell their beer.
“Myself and my friend Josh are running the bar and we had a successful relaunch at the end of November.
"We had live music from Jack Corrigan, a solo guitarist and singer who played covers, and the night was smashing.
"The place was buzzing and I couldn’t have been happier.
"Good music, good people and great beer. Here’s to the future of great ale in Darwen”
