DON Rishton (LET, December 2) hits the nail on the head regarding the decline of the state pension in this country.
Link-Age is the only UK-wide non-party political pensions pressure group in the UK with a manifesto campaign calling for UK state pensions to be brought in line with Europe.
Our manifesto, which is designed to be sent by readers direct to their constituent MPs at the House of Commons gives people a chance to stand and be counted with the backing of Link-Age.
Also included in our manifesto is the abolition of taxing pensions on their income and/or savings.
Link-Age has been established four years and are new and unique because we have neither membership fee, charitable status, or vested interests.
