A MARCH against plans which could see critical care beds stripped from Burnley General Hospital will take place in Nelson tomorrow.
Pendle residents are being urged to "spend an hour and save lives" by Azhar Ali, former chairman of the now defunct Burnley NHS Trust.
People should meet at 11.45am outside Woolworths in the town centre, or the Silverman Hall, in Pendle Street, where the march begins at 12.30pm.
East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust has put forward options which could see intensive care beds moved to Blackburn's Queen's Park Hospital.
Final plans will be consulted on in the New Year.
Mr Ali said: "I know that people power does work and that this campaign needs to be sustained over many months. We need people to come out and show their support tomorrow."
Mr Ali can be contacted on 07855 509990.
