A 19-year-old Blackburn man has been sent to Preston Crown Court for sentence after admitting drug supply charges.
Safdar Ali Patel, of Ash Street, pleaded guilty at Blackburn Magistrates Court to possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply and supplying both drugs.
Peter Wild, prosecuting, said that when interviewed Patel said that on an average day he would sell £1,000 worth of the drugs.
He added: "He said he had been working for the person higher up the chain for a considerable period of time and had done it to get his own supplies."
Kevin Preston, defending, said his client accepted supplying to feed his own £60 to £70-a-day addiction.
"He is a young man with a lot of problems," added Mr Preston.
