WITH every week that goes by, the confidence in this Burnley team seems to grow. There was a time not too long ago when, if the Clarets fell behind, you feared the worst.
Saturday's point at Southampton is more evidence that times they are changing. Now, I reckon even the most pessimistic Burnley fan will travel to Sheffield United this weekend thinking 'we can do these'.
With Watford following, those two opponents will test our mettle but with one of the brightest young managers around today in charge of a squad determined to take our club places, I'm certainly optimistic.
The run Burnley find themselves on has carried them into play-off contention and what would be fantastic is to keep ticking away in the shadows over the next few months and then pouncing on the top six when it really matters.
