A CEMENT mixer has been stolen from Hyndburn Council's Willows Lane depot.
Thieves, who used a metal bar to force open a padlock, also stole a power washer, some fuel cans and an axe.
The depot has been broken into several times in the last few months and police are talking to the council to see what can be done to stop it happening again.
Police are also appealing for witnesses to the burglary, which happened between Satruday night and Monday morning.
They would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered machinery they think may have been stolen.
Anyone with information is asked to telephone Accrington police station on 01254 382141 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 .
