EVERY year it amazes me how many sports stars get merited in the Queen's honours list for just doing a job they love (and getting a whopping wage into the bargain).
There was David Beckham and now Jonny Wilkinson.
What about the real public who work tirelessly for their community, clubs or day centres? These people really do deserve to be honoured.
These honours once seemed special, they were not dished out to all and sundry. It would be nice to see more deserving people receive them.
