A WOMAN texted her husband from Entwistle Reservoir saying she was going to "end it all," police revealed today.
The 63-year-old from Manchester was found barely conscious yesterday at about 4.30pm by paramedics and police, appearing to have taken a number of tablets and some cough mixture.
She was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital, where she was yesterday being treated. Her condition was not expected to be life threatening.
Inspector Graham Keates said: "She texted her husband saying she was at Entwistle Reservoir and was going to end it all.
"The husband contacted Manchester police and they alerted us. We went up and she was there, having taken a number of tablets and cough mixture."
