A MAN has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after his housemate was stabbed twice.
Rikki Burke, 21, of Whalley New Road, Bastwell, Blackburn, was due to appear before Blackburn magistrates today.
Alan Fielden, 40, has undergone two operations to stab wounds on his chest and back.
He was today in intensive care, where his condition was described as stable.
He has been well enough to sit up in bed and talk .
Mr Fielden was taken to Blackburn Infirmary with a broken kitchen knife in his back following an incident at the home in Whalley New Road about 1.30am on Monday.
