I AGREE with Hyndburn MP Greg Pope. We should have a national anthem of our own for all English sports teams such as Jerusalem or Land of Hope and Glory.
As for the Football Association saying their players sing the National Anthem with passion is a laugh.
I watch all sporting events and I have yet to see this happen, although I noticed most foreign teams do.
It would be interesting to hear suggestions from readers who agree with this suggestion.
