FAMOUS watercolours from Towneley Hall will go on display in the New Year.
A collection of paintings by Noel Harry Leaver will be displayed in the parlour from January 10 until late March.
The collection belongs to the hall and includes watercolours of the Lake District, cathedrals, continental scenery and Moorish architecture.
It will be complemented by a portrait in oils of Leaver himself, donated to the hall.
The watercolour gallery has been closed and redecorated money provided by the Towneley Hall Society.
