Lights are still burning for hopice funds

ANYONE who has lost a friend or relative is invited to remember their lives and raise money for Pendleside Hospice. Two ceremonies were held last weekend for the Light Up a Life Campaign, but organisers have reassured people it

is not too late to get involved. The campaign, the biggest fund-raiser in the hospice calendar, has raised £54,000 so far but money is still coming in.

Fund-raiser Kaye Bartle said: "It is still not too late for anyone to make a donation and have their loved one's name entered in the book of remembrance."
