I FEEL I have to disagree with Karen Wright's comment about Darwen's festive lights. I read out to my family as I usually do the letters which concern our area.
The part about the lights being the same and in the same place prompted my daughter to go through last year's photographs. "Look daddy, Mrs Wright's wrong, there are new lights."
And if you take a walk up from her good friend Jenny's shop you will find a beautiful tree all lit up.
This is the season to be jolly. Join in with me and my family. Merry Christmas everyone, joy to all.
