THE seal was set on the new science and technology block at Accrington and Rossendale College.
The £3m block, which provided the latest in laboratory and teaching facilities, was opened by the vice chancellor of Sheffield University, Professor Gareth Roberts.
Alan Shearer, Mike Newell and Graeme Le Saux represented Blackburn Rovers at a dinner for Langho FC, helping to raise £2,000 for the club in the process.
