A MOTHER has sent out a heartfelt plea for her missing daughter to come home.

Hayley Fairbrother has not seen her 12-year-old daughter Jade since she left for lessons at Hollins Technology College, Accrington, last Thursday.

Today, the 33-year-old, of Barnes Street, Clayton-le-Moors, said she just wanted her daughter home and would do anything for her.

Jade has gone missing before but never for this long.

"I love her more than anything in the world, she's my baby. Me and her are a team," Miss Fairbrother said.

Yesterday police said they thought the youngster had a boyfriend called Martin, and might have been hanging around with goths in Blackburn town centre.

Miss Fairbrother said Jade had been unsettled since moving from Kent last year and since the break-up of her mother's relationship with a former partner last month.

"I'm at my wits end, I just don't know what to do, I just want her home.

"The longer it goes on the more scared I am that something serious is going to happen.

"She's a lovely girl but she's obviously got things on her mind but we can deal with it together.

"We are very close. If anyone has seen her or has had a conversation with her, just let the police know.

"She has gone missing before because she's been unsettled but she's not a bad kid or a rebel, she's my baby."

Jade is 5ft 5in tall, with hazel eyes and dark brown, collar-length curly hair.

She was last seen wearing her school uniform, a black jumper and white polo shirt, black trousers and black Rockport boots.
