SEDGLEY Park RUFC travel down to Berkshire to take on tenth-placed Newbury.

And player-coach Tim Fourie for one, won't need any added incentive to win.

"Last year they cited me for kicking one of their players in the head, as a result I was banned for three weeks," he said.

"I caught the guy in a tackle as I tried to get out of his way, but they called me dirty this and dirty that, so a win would be extra nice."

Despite having beaten Newbury at Park Lane in December, Fourie is not expecting an easy time at Monks Lane.

"They're competitive, they get stuck in and we will have to take it to them to grind out another win."

Second-placed Nottingham entertain Moseley, while third-placed Nuneaton host fourth-placed Doncaster.

Of last Saturday's defeat of Esher, he said: "We should have put them away earlier but we didn't, and we nearly paid the price."

"They have explosive wingers in Nash Shumba and Piers Gregory, but we managed to contain them."

He then singled out two players who made telling contributions to the victory.

"Erik Lund in the second row was unbelievable," he said.

"He has size, athleticism, aggression and ball handling ability - he made Carlos Hassan's try with a dummy and a 50-metre run.

"We have a mobile but small front row, but 18-stoners Erik and Paul Arnold pushing behind them in the scrum makes a big difference, while in the line-out he has height and jumping ability."

Fourie also welcomed back Chris Glynn from injury.

"We've been missing touch kicks under pressure and that's where he comes in," he said.

"He's quick, reads the game well and is busting a gut to impress.

"He normally plays full back, but I think wing is his best position.

"He kicks the ball end-over-end, and defending players know that if they don't catch it cleanly they can knock-on, so it can be a real pressure reliever.
