A 38-year-old man has been charged with murder following an incident at a house on High Street in the Golborne.
Timothy Ashcroft, of High Street, Golborne, was charged on Saturday and is due before Wigan magistrates on Monday.
The body of 44-year-old Andrew Ashcroft was discovered at 3.30am on Wednesday.
