TRAVELLERS have set up camp on a park in Dudley today.
Four caravans and vehicles are on Priory Park, leading to concerns from local residents.
Councillor Keiran Casey shared a picture on social media and said Dudley Council has been contacted.
He said: "We're aware that travellers have arrived on Priory Park again today.
"We've popped up and have contacted the council asking they sort this out as quickly as possible.
"We'll do everything we can to help on this as we've been contacted by a number of concerned residents."
MP Marco Longhi said the encampment is "unacceptable."
He said: "Our parks and green spaces are there to be used for leisure purposes by the local community and a traveller encampment on the park is inappropriate.
"I’ve gone straight to the top and raised this with Dudley Council - I will keep you updated as soon as I know more."
Dudley Council has been contacted for comment.
