WEYMOUTH Parkrun is on the move this weekend.
The popular mass running, jogging and walking 5km event has let its winter location of Weymouth seafront.
On Saturday, March 30, it will return to its usual Lodmoor Country Park location.
The event, one of hundreds held across the country on Saturdays at 9am, transfers to Weymouth promenade during the winter months because the country park becomes muddy.
Due to many visitors heading to Weymouth for the Easter weekend, the parkrun is expected to be popular.
A spokesman said: "Easter weekend is usually busy for us at Weymouth parkrun and it's also our first weekend back on our usual route in Lodmoor Country Park.
"Because of this we won't be having a pacing event this weekend.
"If you are visiting, we are looking forward to seeing you. Please park as normal in Lodmoor carpark (parking charges apply) but walk to the rear of the car park to the start rather than across the road to the seafront.
"The route is predominantly tarmac paths with a short stretch of trail through the wooded area that is still muddy at the edge of the path so take care if overtaking on this stretch."
