Police said four people were taken to hospital after a crash between two cars in the Ribble Valley.
Officers said they were called at 12.40pm on Tuesday, March 5, to a report of a road collision on the A682 Settle Road in the Newsholme area.
Emergency services found two cars, a red Skoda Yeti and a silver Volvo XC90 were involved in the incident.
Four people being taken to hospital with serious injuries - two of whom are in a critical but stable condition, police said.
A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing to you, the public, to ask if you witnessed this collision, or have any dashcam or CCTV footage from the A682 Settle Road or the surrounding areas between 12pm and 12.50pm on the afternoon of March 5 to please get in contact.
“If you do have any information, please contact us on 101 quoting log 0607 of March 5, or email SCIU@lancashire.police.uk.”
