Give us some history about the pub

The pub was previously called the Buck Inn. The pub had been shut for about five years before we bought it and renovated it.

Is food served? Is so what’s on the menu?

Our menu is a mix of both pub and restaurant dishes also featuring a five course surprise tasting menu. Pub side of the menu offers four bar snacks and main courses such as pies, suet pudding and steak and sticky toffee pudding. The seasonal menu changes weekly with four starters, four main courses and three desserts plus cheese. one of each option is vegan. The five course surprise tasting menu is created on the evening from the seasonal menu and can be adapted to the guests taste. Price wise snacks range from £5-£9, starters £8-£14, mains £18-£36, desserts £9, tasting menu £60

The old beer garden has been converted into our garden room which has Louvred roof that we open when the weather is fine
