Built in the late 1800’s and formerly the Peels Arms Hotel of Massey’s Burnley brewing company, followed by Charringtons, then a bass house before being purchased by Amber Taverns Ltd about 15 year ago

Most memorable moment at the pub

Recent charity event on the day of the Kings Coronation when we had the street closed off. There was an outdoor stage with singers, tombola, BBQ and stalls and raised over £1,600 for Help for Heroes.

Do you have an entertainment line-up?

We have “Wacky Wednesday” every week with pints from £2.00 a pint with karaoke from 2-5, and karaoke every Friday and Saturday night from 8.30pm. We also have regular fancy dress parties.

Have you faced any challenges within the industry

Being in lockdown during Covid had a large impact as it changed peoples drinking habits, but we’ve thankfully now returned to a thriving business with a booming daytime and weekend trade

Meeting so many new faces and receiving so many compliments when they leave
