A road in Leyland is currently closed due to a fire.

Church Road, at the junction with Fox Lane, outside the Fox and Lion pub, is closed while fire crews deal with the incident on Worden Lane.

Police are on the scene assisting the fire service and are asking drivers to plan their routes accordingly.

A police spokesperson said: “We are currently assisting the fire service at the scene of a fire on Worden Lane, Leyland.

“Church Road, at the junction wit Fox Lane outside the Fox and Lion pub, is closed.

“Please plan your route accordingly. We will update once the road re-opens.”
