A POPULAR picnic spot near Pendle Hill needs votes to win a £1,000 bursary for the site.
Barley picnic site has made the top 10 spots in the regional heat, as part of the national awards run by bakers Warburtons.
If the site is voted the UK's favourite spot of the year, £1,000 will be given to be spent on the site and a plaque to display.
Warburtons is hosting the second annual awards in the build up to this year's National Bread Week, which runs from May 5 to 11.
The North West Regional Development Agency, which represents the main five tourist boards in the region, helped Warburtons choose the final 10 picnic sites which include Heaton Park, Manchester, Lyme Park in Cheshire and Beacon Fell near Preston.
Everyone who votes will be entered into a prize draw to win a family picnic in Central Park, New York.
