Due to unforeseen circumstances an event in Chorley to raise money for disabled charity, The Legacy Rainbow House, based in Mawdesley, near the town, has been cancelled.

Three top Lancashire style businesses had hoped to teamed up to host a special day on Thursday, April 24, to celebrate the wonder of women.

The event, Celebrating Women A Spring Affair, was scheduled to take place at The Pines Hotel in Clayton-le-Woods, near Chorley, with a hairdressing demonstration by David Thomas hairdressing group which has with salons in Leyland, Preston, Wrightington and Lytham.

But organisers have pledged to keep supporters updated.

Cathy Skidmore, of The Legacy Raindow House, said: "I would like to thank everyone for their interest and support and I will keep you informed if the event is to go ahead some time in the future."
