A LONGRIDGE man seriously injured in a car crash that killed his friend told police he could not remember the accident.
The pair had been watching a football match on pub TV in May 2005 when the car became airborne in the "horrendous" accident, Preston Crown Court heard.
Both men were over the drink-drive limit and the jury was told they would have to decide who was driving the car in Whittingham Road, Longridge. Stuart Callaghan, 27, of Derby Road, Longridge, denies causing the death of 24-year-old Paul Hayhurst by dangerous driving.
