The idea came to Chris about a month ago when Geek Retreat hired an entertainer from the Preston-based entertainment and party company, Lightning and Friends, to stand outside of the shop dressed as a ghostbuster with a replicate of the iconic ghostbuster van.

A seeing the pure joy this brought to the fans, the pair came up with the plans to host the breakfast events.

He said: “We thought we’d get this idea going whilst all the kids are off for their holidays and give them something fun and a bit different to do.

“It’s the first time we’ve done this so we’re really looking forward to it.”

Tickets are priced at £10 per child. The cost includes a breakfast butty (bacon, sausage or hash brown), unlimited juice and a free slushy drink plus, as well as an exciting hour with one of their favourite superheroes!
