POLICE have arrested a man on suspicion on supply of cocaine.
Officers from the Pendle taskforce have arrested the man in Nelson on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs after they have conducted telephone enquiries in regards to drug offences.
Officers have then searched the male's home address in the Trinity area of Burnley and have recovered an amount of suspected cocaine along with other items which are linked to the supply of drugs.
A spokesman for the police said: "We will continue to target those people responsible of supplying drugs within our local community, which will no doubt make our neighbourhoods a safer place to be and live.
"If you have any information about drug dealing in your area please contact your local neighbourhood policing team, call 101 or alternatively you can call the independent charity crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
