THE driver of a Mercedes has had his licence taken away from him after he was caught driving without due care.
Preston Magistrates Court heard how Colin Leatherd was found guilty of driving without due care or attention during an incident which dates back to 2019.
At the time the 49-year-old had been driving a Mercedes along Brothers Street in Blackburn.
Leatherd, of Whalley Old Road in the town, was not present in court when he was ordered to pay a £120 fine. Further court costs and a surcharge to fund victim services bought the total fee to £237.
He was also banned from driving from six months.
