The biggest inflatable park in the North West (and the first in the whole country) officially opened its doors to the public on Monday.

Situated just off New Hall Lane in Preston (perfect for anyone travelling from Blackburn), the £250,000, 20,000sq/ft venue is the only joined-together inflatable park in the region, with all the attractions on one massive bouncy castle.

Lancashire Telegraph:

The Mayor of Preston, Councillor David Borrow, opened the new permanent attraction on Monday morning, and by 10.30am, there were already people inside, enjoying a bounce, and getting to grips with the 'slam dunk' and 'whack a mole' features.

Cllr Borrow said: "We’re delighted that Jump Maniax has chosen Preston as the first location to open such an exciting new family attraction.

“It’s yet another first for the city and shows how entrepreneurs, even in challenging times, have the confidence to invest here.

“We wish them every success and hope people will continue to support all local independent businesses after such a long period of uncertainty.”

Lancashire Telegraph:

Manager, Martin Bamber, said there had already been a huge interest in the park, with families booking their slots to come and jump around and get some much needed physical exercise.

He said: "People are very excited to try something new coming out of Covid.

"The venue is Covid safe and we have capped the numbers to make sure we only have a certain amount of people inside at once.

"And as it's classed as a physical actvity, while on the inflatables, masks will not be needed. This is going to be exercise that doesn't really feel like exercise."

Lancashire Telegraph:

Director of Jump Maniax, Samir Patel, said: “We’ve had a fantastic response to Jump Maniax and there’s a real buzz around the city.

“All the inflatables in the park are joined together so it’s like one big bouncy playground where families can have fun in a safe environment whatever the weather.”

“We’re thrilled to be bringing the next generation of leisure attractions to Preston for the whole city to enjoy.”

Lancashire Telegraph:

Jump Maniax will be open 10am-7pm, Monday to Friday and 10am-8pm at the weekend, with an hour long session priced at £9.95 per person.
