Deliveroo is riding into even more towns across Lancashire this week as the food delivery service gets set to expand its empire.

People living in Chorley, Fleetwood, Barrow-in-Furness and Skelmersdale will be able to take advantage of the service and purchase food from high street favourites such as Burger King, Costa, and KFC.

And for those who like to support local, retailers like Fredericks Ice Cream, Skippers of Euxton, Kays Kitchen and Mr Nitros in Fleetwood will also be joining the list.

Lancashire Telegraph:

In Chorley, Deliveroo is offering up to 1,000 new customers £10 off their first two orders using the code: CHORLEY.

While all new customers in Fleetwood can get £10 off their first order using the code: FLEETWOOD.

The offer will run until June 20 and is for new customers only, with a minimum spend of £15 or more. There is also 20 per cent off

Head of UK Expansion for Deliveroo, Berenice Cowan, said: "At last, we've arrived in Chorley and Fleetwood.

"We can't wait to bring everyone great food from local and national favourites, and to help local chefs reach new customers.

"Hungry foodies, here we come."

The food delivery company say they will continue to add new local restaurants, takeaways and convenience stores to the platform over the coming months, providing a major boost to small restaurant businesses across the county who will be able to reach new customers and grow their restaurant businesses through offering delivery services.

Working with Deliveroo increases restaurants’ sales as they can reach a wider range of customers.

This enables restaurants to expand their businesses, often employing more staff, broadening their menus and lengthening opening times as a result.

Anyone wishing to become a Deliveroo partner can apply here.

Deliveroo will also be looking for up to 50 people across each of the new launch areas to become riders, with those who work for the company choosing when they want to work and where they want work, delivering food and groceries to customers’ doors in as little as 30 minutes.

Lancashire Telegraph:

Customers have the option to schedule orders via the Deliveroo app up to one day in advance or receive food as soon as possible between 11.30am and 11pm on weekdays and 11.30am and 11pm on weekends, from a variety of independent eateries, traditional takeaways, high-quality chain restaurants as well as grocery retailers.

This comes as Deliveroo will also be extending further into the suburbs of existing cities or towns that it currently operates in.

The drive behind the rapid expansion is underpinned by the company’s belief that people in every part of the UK should have access to amazing meals wherever and whenever they want them.
