INFECTION rates have continued to drop in most areas of Rossendale – with Rawtenstall recording the highest rate.
Analysis of the Government’s Covid-19 infections map shows that the rate has only increased in Helmshaw and Waterfoot and Stacksteads, however the highest infection rate is in Rawtenstall which has seen no change in the past seven days.
Of the places with a decreased rate, Haslingden recorded the biggest drop of 70.4 per cent, after the infection rate fell to 76.3 per cent in the seven days to February 13.
All information displays a localised seven–day rolling rate of new cases up to 13 February 2021 and is correct per the Government’s coronavirus portal on February 19.
