A man and a boy have been arrested in connection with the possession and supply of cocaine and heroin after being found 20 miles from home during lockdown.
On Saturday officers from the Task Force found a 27 year-old-man and a 17-year-old boy, both from Preston, had travelled 20 miles to Lancaster where they were discovered to have in their possession a large amount of suspected crack cocaine, suspected heroin, and a large sum of cash.
Both of them were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
A spokesperson for the police said: "On Saturday January 9, Task Force located a 27-year-old male and a 17-year old-male, both from Preston, at Wheatfield Mews, Lancaster.
"A large amount of suspected crack cocaine and heroin along with a quantity of cash was recovered and both males were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
"We couldn’t achieve results like this without the help of our community."
