POLICE are asking for residents to be on the lookout for items which have been stolen in Blackburn.
It comes after a number of burglaries overnight between January 7-8 in the Highercroft area.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "We have had further reports of acquisitive crime offences in this area and have identified a number of items that have been stolen.]
"Please can I ask that you let us know if you are offered any of these items in suspicious circumstances or have any information about anyone who may have come into possession of such items recently.
"Some of these items have significant sentimental value to the victims and I can't over emphasise enough the impact this incident has had on them.
So please let us know if you have any information about the following items: Silver iPad air, Gold necklace with a doll charm, wedding ring, engagement ring, Puma rucksack and assorted Cd's.
"I appreciate that some of these descriptions are a little generic, but if it helps prompt someone’s thoughts and helps us recover these items and bring the culprit to justice then that would be a great result.
"If you have any information about these offences or items please email PC 6936 Jessica Rowley at 6936@lancashire.police.uk."
