FEED your toddler fillet steak or stock up on baby's first Christmas dinner.

Pre-schoolers in Hampshire are now eating better than their parents could ever hope to thanks to a new firm delivering delicious seasonal baby food to your door.

Dotty & Roo is named after the nicknames of the youngest children of its founders, who met at the school gates and launched their new venture during the first lockdown.

Hayley Murphy is a passionate cook and mum of three boys including eighteen-month old Rupert and Katherine Bell is an NHS doctor and mum of two, including Dorothy, aged 21 months.

Another mum at Sherborne House School in Chandlers Ford has since come on board to offer her expertise. Diane Burns had three children under three including one with severe allergies so she is well versed in the feeding requirements of babies and toddlers.

Parents in all SO Southampton postcodes, and now PO14 for Whiteley, are loving the constantly changing Dotty & Roo menus, which include everything from Hampshire Rainbow Trout with Fennel, Radish and Rocket to Indian Dahl.

All meals are homemade in Hayley's kitchen in Allbrook and flash frozen. They are not processed, contain no preservatives and use locally sourced organic ingredients from Oaktree Organics near Overton.

Hayley told the Daily Echo: "Our menus are such a great option. They're something really healthy, delicious and guilt free. They're delivered right to your door and, for some of our customers, it's been a bit of a life saver. The food has been really well received and the majority are coming back again and again.

"Our whole philosophy is to reduce fussiness. It's so important to us that babies and toddlers get a real variety of tastes and textures really early on, so when they come off of our meals at the age of three they fit straight in with family meals."

The fillet steak is served with a beetroot salsa, while other big sellers include Macaroni Cheese with Winchester Watercress and Solent Sea Bass and Broad Bean Risotto.

A new range of dips, including Beetroot Hummus, Pea Mint and Ricotta and Wild Salmon, Yoghurt and Fennel, is also proving popular.

Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and a host of other festive favourites will be available to order soon.
