SEVERAL new workshops on a former caravan site could generate up to 15 new jobs in Bolton.
Blueprints have been drawn up on behalf of Mr T Blair, of Tonge Fold Road, for land known as Open Gates, off Belvoir Street.
A planning agent says: "The site has (had) mixed uses throughout the years and latterly planning permissions and use as a caravan site."
The site has now become vacant and the applicant is anxious to develop the site with small workshops to provide secure premises for smaller businesses at smaller rents."
The agent also says that the traffic accessing the site, which is located between St Chad's Church and Brakes International, would mainly be smaller vehicles.
The larger workshop would be 151 square metres, two of the others would be 113 square metres and the remaining three would be 52 square metres.
