A DENTAL surgery is running a free virtual clinic for children during lockdown to help keep their teeth healthy.
AP Smilecare in Blackburn wants to help alleviate some of the pressure on parents to ensure their children's teeth and gums are kept healthy.
Principal dentist, Dr Josephine Prasad, said: "During the crisis we wanted to encourage some of our dental normality; but this is difficult as we can't do check-ups and when you're at home we naturally head to the snack box more.
"It's particularly hard for parents home schooling and we can see how bribery would work by 11am.
"Blackburn with Darwen has one of the highest children's decay rates in the country, so it's important we as dentists try to keep this health message out there."
